I would guess that the lack of response for the last several months would indicate you are correct.

If interested in a campaign, review the rules attached and provided feedback.
I would idealy like to have at least 12 participants. Tough I know.
Thanks

there may be a problem with the map size for game to the planet size, as per rules. I copy here,,, for you to look at:
Large Planet Some hexes will contain a slightly larger planet icon representing a major colony, or home world in that sector. Battle occurring in these hexes will reflect a Medium-Planet map, and may have other manufactured defenses and\or installations present. [glow=red,2,300]Small Planet[/glow] Most planet hexes will represent somewhat smaller colony worlds that represent the foundation of most empires. Battles will also be reflected by a [glow=red,2,300]Large Planet map by default[/glow]
I will continue reading after supper or later,

ok, well, later, it is mentioned:
2. Combat will occur on medium sized maps
with that in mind,,,,,,, asteroids are also an issue: Asteroid hexes will represent major mining colonies. Tactical map will reflect Medium-Asteroid. Ships entering these hexes should do so with cautions as pirates and other strange beings lurk in these areas. Asteroid Hexes come in Large and small sizes, [glow=red,2,300]but the tactical battles will always use Large Asteroid maps.[/glow]
the victory award is VERY RICH, 75 PP per turn for next campaign? wow nice.
Please don't feel I am picking at things. I like the overall, and just want to help some possible problem areas. there are a few other things for me to figure/work out, that may help some confusion later too.
Let's see if there are enough people interested.

Critique away!
I saw some of what you stated. Keep the potential problem areas coming. Clarity empowers the players.
I think this would be great warm-up for a general campaign. A little 1 vs 1, 2 vs 1, etc to knock the rust off.
But participation is key, which gives a chance to continue with the general campaign.
Victory award can be adjusted if everyone thinks it may be too large. But hell I want the campaign to have meaning.

An addition to the rules needs to deal with drones.
The usual loadout for drones consists of: 1. Two Reloads 2. Medium Speed
Right?

woohoo med speed drones in early era love it just kidding. I think it would also depend a lot on the era, types of ships, and what the "maker" decides, but ya,,,, usually that sounds about right. Only difficulty with that is the drone races get hosed.

Well, I do not want drone races to get hosed.
Would 4 reloads and slow be too much?
Ship availability would be 2270 and before.

just my opinion and experience here for my thoughts on it,,,,,, but,, basic rule I have seen in many gamestyles is:
2 loads of fast (if/when available)
or
3 loads of Med(if/when available)
or
4 loads of slow(always available)
It would mean that true drone races could get faster drones, at the cost of quantity.
just my thoughts and exp.

Noted.
This fact would mean that commanders will have to purchase the more advanced drones at the time of initial builds, if available in 2270. The initial builds will make up all resources available in the campaign.
Hence, what you start with is all you will get. As there will be no further builds.
Does this fact put drone races at an overall disadvantage?
